Displayed at the park on 6th Avenue - Houston St. NY
New York, US
I made this for a typography class where we had to make a word out of any material. after thinking about it, i decided to take it further and create something bigger. I passed by this park between Houston St. and 6th Av (Avenue Of The Americas) yesterday. Inmediatelly, I remember Sagmesteir and his work so, I spend all night thinking: what could I write? And then, I remembered Navid (a friend from Iran) who once told me that you should always call beaituful a woman (specially in spain: guapa). So I bought white tape and wrote, “Hi, Beautiful.”.
This is my hello to New York City.
It will dissapear after a while. Weather, people and time will destroy it. Just like beauty, it never lasts for ever.
